Luis Reyes is a New York Puerto Rican who came to Hollywood and found his career as a film and television publicist. His passion for the history of Latinos in Hollywood and the lack of recognition by mainstream media provoked him to co-write (with Peter Rubie) Hispanics in Hollywood, the definitive encyclopedia of Latino movies, television shows as well as actors and directors. He spoke to Latinopia about how the book came about.
