NOSOTROS is an organization of actors dedicated to improving the image of Latinos in motion pictures and on television and to training new talent. The group was founded in 1970 by acclaimed actor Ricardo Montalban. Jerry Velasco, who was president of the organization from 1979 to 2006, became close friends with Montalban. Here Jerry explains how the group was formed and Montalban’s vision in the early years.
