Severo Pérez is an acclaimed filmmaker, director, playwright and novelist who has just published a memoir titled Filmmaker’s Journey. The book chronicles Severo’s career in film making concluding with his making of the celebrated feature film and the earth did not swallow him by Chicano novelist Tomás Rivera. He spoke to Latinopia about his new book.
