Edward “Junior” Gonzalez is a second generation Salvadoran American who is also a director and freelance cameraman working in San Francisco. He is concerned about the negative perceptions many Americans hold of the Salvadoran community in the United States, views that the Salvadoran community is violent and gang-ridden. His documentary “Words of Revolution,” seeks to give a more authentic view of Salvadoran life through the expressions of a new generation of hip hop Salvadoran youth.
