In March of 1969, more than 1500 Mexican American youth attended the National Chicano Youth Liberation Conference at the Crusade for Justice in Denver, Colorado. The event was pivotal in that it inspired a generation of activists to return to their homes in the barrio and champion civil rights and justice. This short video, Denver Youth Liberation Conference Part Two, complements the previous Latinopia video “1969 Denver Youth Conference” with more extensive footage of the event.
