On August 29, 1990, Latinos in Los Angles marked the twentieth anniversary of the 1970 Chicano Moratorium March against the Vietnam war. Among those attending was a delegation of activists from El Paso, Texas depicted in this photo. Renowned Chicano poet Ricardo Sanchez (1941-1995) can be seen marching behind the El Paso banner, he’s the man in a white shirt with black beret. A remarkable Moment in Time.
