LATINOPIA WORD DAY OF THE REFUGIOS

Renowned Arizona poet Alberto “Tito” Rios, whose body of work includes numerous poetry collections and chapbooks, short story collections as well as a memoir, was born and raised in Nogales, Arizona, along the Arizona Mexico border. Embued with two cultures, he grew up appreciating the celebration of the Fourth of July not just as an American holiday, but also as a personal family celebration.
