Edward Vidaurre is a poet raised in East Los Angeles and now residing in McAllen Texas where he has been named the poet laureate. He is the author of five poetry collections, the latest of which is “I took my Barrio on a Road Trip.” Here he reads his poem, “O Matriarch.”
