Olga García-Echeverría is a narrative writer and poet who was born and raised in East Los Angeles. Her book, “Falling Angels,” is split in half between stories and poems, and features a bilingual approach often described as “code switching.” In 2010 she attended the USC Flor y Canto Literary Festival where she read her poem, “Lengualistic Algo,” (Linguistically Something) a humorous look at “code switching” in the works of Latino authors.
