Acclaimed poet and social activist Raul R. Salinas ( 1935-2008) is best known for his poem, “Un Trip Through the Mind Jail.” In 1973, he participated in the Flor y Canto Literary Festival convened at the University of Southern California where he read his poem, “Hail Pachuco!” His reading is courtesy of Michael Sedano and is posted here with the permission of copyright holders.
