Following the success of their album, “The Neighborhood,” the East Los Angeles band, Los Lobos, released “Kiko” in 1992. This break-out album was revolutionary in style, form and content and catapulted the group to new heights. On the 20th anniversary of “Kiko,” the group has reissued the album with enhanced features. Latinopia asked Louie Perez, drummer of the group and co-writer with David HIdalgo of many of the group’s song, how the album came about.
