Rubén Funkahuatl Guevara is a Chicano musician, singer, writer and producer. In 1972, a chance meeting with Frank Zappa of The Mothers of Invention led to a collaboration that resulted in the creation of a legendary doo wop group, Ruben And the Jets. Rubén spoke to Latinopia about how this group came about.
