Singer/songwriter Mark Guerrero interviews manager/producer of the ’70s, Art Brambila, who went from being a gang member in his East L.A. neighborhood to working for major entertainment companies. Mark and Art talk about what was going on behind the scenes of major record deals he helped make happen with Mark Guerrero, Tierra, Yaqui, Carmen Moreno, and Johnny Martinez. Other Brambila accomplishments discussed are his Latino dance television show, “The Mean Salsa Machine,” the “First Chicano Rock Concert,” the “Si Se Puede” album in support of Cesar Chavez and the farmworker movement, and his working for Capitol Records, Motown Records, and Universal Pictures.
