HOLIDAY GIFT IDEAS AND A ZOMBIE REVELATION!
Hola Mis Latinopianos! We’re beginning December with Holiday Gift Ideas. Your Tia thinks that Christmas is much too commercialized. So we’re offering gift suggestions with meaning–art, literature and music by Latino artists, authors and musicians. Check out our suggestions of HOLIDAY GIFT IDEAS. We’re also posting DECEMBER EVENTS –local Latino art, music, theater and cultural events in cities throughout the United States.
Big news this week is the turn of events on the Zombie Mex Diaries blog. A major turning point in the on-going saga of the young Mexican zombie growing up in East Los Angeles. I won’t say more except Check it out! This week we conclude the Arnie and Porfi adventure in Arizona and next week we’ll begin a new cartoon strip penned by the multi-talented Sergio Hernández.
Our videos this week are running a little late. We’ll have them up soon. Watch for another great performance by the jarocho group Las Cafeteras as they perform the traditional son jarocho “El Cascabel.”
And the holidays would not be the same without tamales, so we reposting our excellent how-to-make-tamales video with Diane Hernández. Check it out La Tamalada!
Abrazos!
