Well here we are in a New Year! We begin it with Ricardo Romo reviewing last year in art through his photography of Chicano and Latino Art. Just scope out all these beautiful works, proving that Ricardo is not only an avid collector of art but a spectacular photographer of art!
Alfredo Santos returns with his Mis Pensamientos blog, reviewing what’s on this month’s La Voz newspaper. To read the full edition of La Voz, visit www.lavoznewspapers.com
This week many Latino households are celebrating Day of the Three Wise Men on January 6th. A culinary tradition of this celebration is baking of La Rosca, a scrumptious pastry. Check out the video on how La Rosca is made. Can you find the baby Jesus in the Rosca pastry?
And lastly, to bring in the New Year, here is a poetry reading by Maria R. Berumen. This should inspire all of us for the New Year. She is still writing and reading poetry at the age of 100!
Enjoy your week on Latinopia!
