Happy Holidays mis queridos! As holiday time nears we thought we’d get a head of the game by reminding you of two holiday food specialties welcomed in Latino homes, the traditional Christmas tamales and the savory dessert capirotada. We are reposting Diane Velarde Hernández’s recipes for tamales and for capirotada ( bread pudding) so you can all get ahead of the game and prepare for the coming weeks.
Also this week, Barbara Zaragoza returns with the third in her series on lowriding in Southern California. This week she look at the technology behind lowriding. Julie Carmen returns with her Yoga Talk blog, this week she demonstrates the “Chair Pose.” And Angela Ortiz brings us another Photo of the week, this week “Close to Home ”.
