Ricardo Romo’s Tejano Report this week looks at the Fotoseptiembre exhibit of photos by Chicano artists which Ricardo himself curated. The exhibit is now being hosted by the Dock Gallery.
Also this week, Liz Gonzalez reads from her collection of poems, Dancing in the Santa Ana Winds: Poems y Cuentos New and Selected (Los Nietos Press, 2018). Here she reads the poem, “Confessions of a Pseudo-Chicana.”
And this week we showcase Jose Umpierre’s film on the history of the presence of Puerto Ricans on the island in this sweeping and powerful history: Land of Borinken. Thsi is really cool stuff, check it out, please!
