The first video showcases the exhibit at the University of California at Irvine titled Aztlan to Magulandia: the Journey of Chicano Artist Gilbert Magu Lujan as explained by his son, Naiche Lujan. The second video The World of Magulandia, explains the vision behind Magu’s spirit animal creations and the evocative world of Magulandia. Don’t miss these cool vidoes.
Also this week, Chicano music icon Mark Guerrero returns with this Chicano Music Chronicles. This week, and for the whole month of January, he will feature an interview with early Chicano rock and roll singer Little Ray Jimenez who along with Little Willie G rocked the Chicano music scene in the 1960s.
