Pat Mora is a celebrated poet who grew up along the US/Mexico border. Her poetry and children’s books reflect the often conflictive nature of being Bilingual and Bicultural but also reveals her love of the Southwest. Latinopia visited her at her home in Sante Fe, New Mexico where she read her poem, “Mi Madre” (My Mother).
