Ricardo Lira Acuña is a Mexican American writers whose previous works include two books of poetry and photography, Under the Influence and Greetings From Heaven and Hell and the graphic novel The Realm. His latest work is a novel, Prodigy, which chronicles his experiences growing up in a Southwest border town and then winning a scholarship to a prestigious East Coast prep school.
