This week Salomon Baldenegro returns with his Political Salsa y Más blog. This week he looks at the dangerous bent Donald Trump has taken in using Hitler’s language to disparage Mexicans and other Latinos. This year will certainly be the make or break year for American democracy and Sal is quite right in calling out the catastrophic dangers of a Trump electoral victory later this year. And Trump is out there publicly telling us what he believes and what he will do if elected. A scary time and Sal points out how crazy it is for Latinos to be supporting Trump when he is attacking our community. Que mensos!
Also this week we visit with poet Ramón Garcia as he speaks about his passion for poetry and the themes of his poems. We also post Ramón reading from his poetry collection, Other Countries.
And Ricardo Romo’s Tejano Report returns with a look at the art of Raul Servin. As usual Ricardo gives us Servin’s artistic backstory and showcases some of his outstanding works.
